Ohhhhhhhh all the coke in the world can’t contain my RAEG.
As reported by Bloomberg, the size of coke cans will be cut from 355mL cans to 330mL cans in order to reduce costs of production. Price of coke will still remain the same, however. In doing this, Coca-Cola is effectively passed the cost of increasing fuel and raw materials prices onto us the consumers and me, the vending machine.
:<
Now hopefully, Coca-Cola has considered other things before this reduction. Like, is the current 355mL can at the optimal aluminum/coke ratio? Of not, would reshaping the can help reduce costs? I mean if they considered thing such as this (we all know just because a corporation is large, it does not necessarily mean they make the best decisions), then fine. I’ll go along with their ploy.
And because I’m such a freak, I got into a “discussion” about weather or not the new can has a higher aluminum surface area/volume of coke raito compared to the 355mL can.

Like how the generation before me idolizies Bruce Lee, I grew up watching every Jackie Chan movie I could find. I remember when I was young, my family would always have movie nights. The movies were usually Chinese movies rented from a nearby LaserDisk store, and I would always always enjoy the Jackie Chan movies. The way I act when it comes down to Jackie Chan is comparable to some Narutards

And Jet Li? Augh I hate him and yet, I like him. Probably 8 years ago, he really annoyed me. I don’t know why! Every… single… thing about him annoyed me, from Romeo Must Die all the way up to Unleashed. In recent years though, I’ve grown to accept him more, especially after watching Hero and Fearless.
Anyways, this joint collaboration between Chan and Li was rumored back in what? 2002? When I heard Chan and Li had a movie together I decided I was going to watch it, I didn’t even know what the movie was called or what it was about. I was going to watch it (secretly hoping Jackie Chan will kick Jet Li’s ass).
So things I noted during the movie:
- When Jackie Chan started speaking English I had Rush Hour flashbacks (you know, Chris Tucker assumed Chan didn’t know English) and I love how everyone in ancient fairytale China can speak English.
- Drunken boxing cause Chan was pretty cool to watch, and he fits the role so well cause he actually does look kinda drunk when he smiles.
- Li has some craaaaazy ass laugh (for those of you who have watched, I’m talking about the part after he fights Chan).
Its a shame the story was so weak, a Chan and Li movie could of been EPIC. Totally EPIC. I only went to watch this for the Chan vs Li fight. If not for those two, I probably wouldn’t of even given this movie a second thought (maybe unless they casted Stephen Chow instead of Jet Li, just maybe). But you know what? Even though the plot had more holes than a piece of swiss cheese , it’s an enjoyable movie if you forget about the plot. Just switch off your brain and enjoy the ride.
Kinda like watching Die Hard, but instead of explosions and crap you get some kung-fu!

(Sorry for the lack of screen shots, SS-Ayu decided to encode in mp4 so BS player can’t play it. And printscreen + Media Player Classic fails horribly.)
Maybe it’s the fact that Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana were both produced by JC Staff, or the fact that Louise and Shana are both voiced by Rei Kugimiya and Saito and Yuuji are voiced by Satoshi Hino, but I found myself comparing ZnT to Shana wayyy too nuch … so much that it had become a huge distraction while watching. I swear, sometimes I half expected Louise to burst out yelling “URUSAI! URUSAI! URUSAI!” ~_~;;
