The Sigh of Suzumiya Haruhi I / KyoAni doing what KyoAni does best…

When the episode began, and I saw their awesome getup I knew this was going to be good.
This episode sets up, quite nicely, the making of the SOS Brigade’s Movie for the school festival. More importantly, this is the arc after Kyo Ani’s Endless Eight. So what do we get after eight episodes of the same events? The basics. We get what made Haruhi great in the first place. Her expressions, her randomness, her continuous verbal abuse and lack of respect for any of her club members.
KyoAni and Shaft need to gattai. It would be interesting if Kyon and Senjougahara ever met, considering how rebellious Kyon can be at times and Senjougahara’s crazy personality.
Prepare yourself for a Haruhi facial expression montage!

Something I noticed was that usually the episode title would have I, II, III etc if they are a multi episode arc. Endless Eight, however, never had them. Perhaps the eight episodes will really be treated as one episode? That ay we can get Sigh and Disappearance this season!
… well one can always dream right?

Having Shaft and KyoAni join forces would make an illegitimate love child.
Take Endless Eight, but mix in one colored screens with single or multiple words on them and you got a pretty good basic thing for how the end product would look.
Is that something you want to see? I surely hope not.
And for animation quality, they both have such spectacular designs in their works so a mixup of the styles would probably look awfull and I don´t think they would want to use eachothers style for drawing.
So pray that it never happends, KyoAni and Shaft joining forces for a show.
If Haruhi starts harassing Kyon with a stapler, I’M ALL IN!!! That would be sexually awesome.
I wasn’t used to new things actually… happening, so this episode was pretty shocking.
