So everyone is ragging on Rei Kugumiya taking up yet another tsundere loli role. Personally I don’t find this to be a problem, if someone’s good at it, then by all means.
But the thing that has been bugging me about Tora Dora is this:
Was I the ONLY one who was expecting one more URUSAI?

I did like her voicing Rokujo Miharu from Nabari no Ou though.
Yes, she calls Ryuuji a ‘dog’ in the manga and novels… but she wasn’t as violent the first time they met (it’s implied she either shoved him backwards or else just knocked him over with the force of her killing aura, versus the TAIGA UPPERCUT we got here). The bird, Inko-chan, is as ugly in every source as he is here… and just as demented.
At least Kugimiya Rie’s not using her Nagi/Louise/Shana voice for this one; it’s lower and a BIT more mature, which is a nice change from the childish voices I’ve heard in Hidamari and the other shows named above. I just hope J.C. Staff doesn’t screw around with the source material to make her more like Louise… but we know how the last few attempts went. :P
I dont have a problem with that issue or whatsoever. But this anime is just the best!

I can´t remember where I found that other bird or human or just something that was more ugly than that parrot. As long as we don´t spend one time each ep trying to have it say it´s name I´m all good.
Or just feed it to the tiger :)
